Contact and Grievance Redressal

Last updated 2026-10-18. This page exists because a site that collects personal data has to say who is behind it and who answers when something goes wrong, under rule 5(9) of the IT (SPDI) Rules, 2011. Nothing on Five Lines is for sale, so the fuller disclosure the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 ask of a seller does not apply yet; it will be published here the day it does.

What to write

You do not need a form or a format. It helps if you include:

  • the email address on your account, if you have one
  • the page or the URL the problem is about
  • what happened, and what you would like done

If we do not resolve it

  • Data and privacy: you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
  • Consumer complaints: the National Consumer Helpline (1915, consumerhelpline.gov.in) and the consumer forums under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 are open to you.

We would rather you told us first, but neither route requires our permission.
